No Dial Tone on the Talk500

We have listed some suggestions below that may help you resolve the issue with no dial tone that you are having.

1. Push the speakerphone button. If speakerphone works, then the speaker in the handset may be bad.  Make sure the curly cord is firmly plugged in to the side of the phone. Check the curly cord to make sure there are no exposed wires or damage to the cord. You can contact ClearSounds to inquire about purchasing a new handset.


2. If the speakerphone has no sound, look to see if the timer comes up on the Caller ID screen to determine if the phone thinks it has connection to the phone line.  If the timer comes on, try moving the phone to a different jack and outlet. 

3. Do other phones in the house work?  If the other phones in the house do not work, it could be a problem with the phone line or the TALK500 could be holding the line open.  Unplug the TALK500 and see if the other phones work.
