No Amplification on the CSC1000

If your CSC1000 is not amplifying, try the following: 
  1. Make sure the Amplify button has been pushed. If it is active, the LED light next to the amplify button will glow red.  If you do not see the light, push the Amplify button.
  2. If the phone is set to auto-amplify, you may have pushed the Amplify button and turned the amplification off. The auto-amplify switch is found behind the Caller ID screen next to where the AC adapter plugs into the phone.  If that switch is turned to ON, then the auto-amplify is set and pushing the Amplify button will turn the amplification off.  
  3. Verify that the CSC1000 is plugged into electricity.  You will see a display in the CallerID window if the phone has electrical power. The phone cannot amplify calls without electrical power.
