Explanation of the Cords that come with the IR2012

Last Updated: Jun 26, 2017 04:10PM CDT
These are the cords that come with the IR2012 and a description of their uses:
  1. RCA Cable - The RCA cable has the red and white cables and will plug into the left and right audio outputs on the back of your television.  The 3.5mm port on the other end will plug into the back of the IR2012 transmitter where it shows Audio In
  2. Coaxial Cable - This cable plugs into the digital coaxial audio out on the back of your television. The other end goes into the port labeled Coaxial on the back of the IR2012 transmitter.
  3. Optical Cable - The optical cable plugs into the optical audio out and then into the optical jack on the back of the IR2012 transmitter.  The plastic covers on the ends of the cable will need to be removed before it can be plugged in to the television and the transmitter.
  4. 3.5mm Cable - The 3.5mm cable plugs into the headset jack on your television and then plugs directly into the IR2012 headset.  This bypasses the transmitter entirely.
