No Amplification on the CSC600ER

If your CSC600ER is not amplifying:
  1. Make sure the 'AMP' button has been pushed.  The amplify LED light next to the AMP button on the lower right of the phone should be lit up. If it is not, push the AMP button and see if the red light comes on. If the light comes on, you should hear a noticeable increase in sound.  If the phone is set to auto-amplify, you may have pushed the AMP button and turned the amplification off.
  2. Make sure the phone is receiving electrical power.  The amplification in the CSC600ER relies on electrical power.  Verify that the AC adapter is plugged into an active electrical outlet.  You can also tell if the phone does not have electrical power by checking to see if there is a display in the Caller ID window. If there is no display in the Caller ID window, check to verify that the AC adapter is plugged in to an active electrical outlet.  If the phone is plugged in to an active electrical outlet and is not receiving power, then it will need to be sent in for repair.
