If you have Caller ID service through your phone company, your time and date will be set with your first phone call. The phone will receive the information through the phone line.
If you do not have Caller ID service, you will need to set the time and date using the following steps:
- Tap the right soft key under Menu (The soft keys are found directly below the Caller ID screen and have white lines in them that look like minus signs)
- Tap the bottom silver edge under the OK key until Setting is highlighted
- Tap the left soft key under Select
- Tap the bottom edge under the OK key until Date and Time is highlighted
- Tap the left soft key under Select
- You will see Year: with a number after it. Use the keypad to enter the last 2 digits of the current year. Tap the left soft key under Save to move to the next screen
- You will see Month: 01- use the dialing pad to enter the month. Example: If it is May, tap 05 on your dialing pad
- Tap the left soft key under Save to save the month and move to the next screen
- You will see Day: 01 - use the dialing pad to enter the day of the month. Example: If it is the 15th of the month, tap 15 on your dialing pad
- Tap the left soft key under Save to save the day and move to the next screen
- You will see Hour: 01 - use the dialing pad to enter the hour. Example: If it is 4 o'clock, tap 04 on your dialing pad
- If you are setting the time for PM, you will have to enter the hour as military time. Example: 4 o'clock pm must be entered as 16 on your dialing pad
- Tap the left soft key under Save to save the hour and move to the next screen
- You will see Minute: 01 - use the dialing pad to enter the minutes. Example if it is 4:15, tap 15 on your dialing pad
- Tap the left soft key under Save to save the minutes. The screen will go back to Date and Time.
- Tap the red key to go back to the main screen. Your time and date should be correct now.
